I believe in a France that the world respects. In the coming years, France will face the need for a decisive choice in foreign policy. We will have to continue the construction of Europe, respecting the interests of its peoples. We will have to take into account the emergence of new strong powers: China, India, Russia, Brazil. Finally, we will have to do everything possible in the fight against international terrorism. France will have to defend its interests in a more complex world, and do so firmly but without unnecessary poses.
