At church the people received pure brainwash. Every Sunday at the mass they were told that those
who believed in God and followed his commands would have their place in the heavenly kingdom. But
if they didn't believe and failed to do the will of God, then Satan and his demons would take their
souls to hell and punish them forevermore. But let's think of this for a moment: What is Gods will?
Didn't the priests do everything in their power to make the people follow their commands, not Gods,
and used a mixture of joy and fear to get them where they wanted? Perhaps some of them even
believed that what they were doing was right and that there was nothing wrong with their behaviour?
No one can tell for sure. Whatever they preached at that time, it was not the words of God, but the
lying tongue of man.
