The witch processes in Sweden started in the year of 1668 and claimed about 300 victims to the
year of 1676. What started this tragedy is still unknown. Many claimed that the church were afraid
of losing their power and authority to the common man, who helped their fellow men without taking a
large sum of money. Some even claimed that the church itself had secret gatherings experimenting
with medicine and healing orbs to gain more power and knowledge. So why start those rumors about
witches and their alliance with the Devil? Well, I can't think of a better way to get rid of the
competition than eliminating them all, can you? Spread fear among the people, and they will believe
and do everything that you say. That is what happened, and it worked perfectly. And all that was
needed was a seed of lies.
