Ever since I was little, people would always make jokes about my low voice. But I think it's so cool that you don't have to have the picture-perfect, girly voice to do an animated film. I think it's great for kids with different voices to know that they could do something like this.
I've never been that person to fake it, and say what everyone else wants you to say. Then you never have anything personal. If I wanted to be an actress all the time, I could do that. But I don't. I want to be real. I want to be a real person. That's what an artist is. An artist has to be honest. Without honesty, there's nothing.
I don't think famous is what I necessarily went for. The media was never something I really looked into and as I see it happening to me, I think I was very smart when I was younger to not want that. It doesn't mean it's not going to happen, I just avoided it as much as possible.
I don't know what's waiting for me around the corner and I don't know what else I'm going to be doing in the future - but you've got to enjoy things while you're doing them. There are tough times and mountains to climb, but you've got to go for it.

Many people say they are so happy to be doing what they do and they love it. But there's a difference between loving your job and living only for your job. And I think people always will say I am overworking and I am over-exposed and that's what I want is all the attention. That's not. What I love is the art of it all.
If you look at me as a role model, I agree with it. If you look at me as an idol, I don't because an idol for me is someone that you want to replicate. You want to be them and I don't wish that on anyone to lose what they have personally, because that's when your spark is lost.
I think the reason that a lot of people have to have a lot of people around is just about being smart and knowing what you want to talk about. I want people to know who I am. Respect is a huge thing - especially in my family. If you don't respect people, people aren't going to respect you back. It's just about yourself, you respecting others, and hopefully everyone else will follow that and respect you, as well.
