I think we have at least two guys on this staff that can win 20 games this year with the team we have, the offense. Like I've said before, it does take a lot of luck. There's a lot that has to happen. But I think it's not just two that can win 20 games on this staff. There might be three or more that can do it.
The Cardinals thing, I don't really know if I could sign with them, to be honest with you. If the Cardinals and White Sox came in and said, 'Here, five years for the same amount of money' or slightly apart, I don't know if I could sign with the Cardinals. There's a lot of stuff that comes with that, a lot of distractions. I've talked to people that play in their hometown, and they say it's almost too big of a distraction.
[Williams] is afraid I'm going to get hurt. He said there's no fine, but if I do it again, there will be a fine. It's only once in a blue moon you get to do that anyway, so it's not like it's an everyday thing they're taking away from us. I'd do it if there was no one in here. I did it when I was a little kid in my backyard during the summertime.
That was huge especially with (Mike) Sweeney on deck. He's hit me pretty well. That's why I kind of gave a little fist pump after I picked him off. If you make a mistake to Sweeney, he's going to hit the ball out of the park and would be a tie game. That is one of the big points of the game.
